True Story

It all started with a dump trailer, a long day, and a simple thought:
“The word dump is just… not great.”

Let’s be honest — it doesn’t sound professional, classy, or even remotely pleasant. So, in a true modern problem-solving fashion, I turned to Google and searched “euphemisms for dump.”

That’s when I stumbled across a strange old term: Growler.

Apparently, back in the day, a “growler” was a big refillable container— tough, reliable, and built for repeat use. Even better, it was also old slang for, you guessed it, a dump.

I had to laugh. It was perfect.

It sounded tough, memorable, and a little witty. Plus, “Growler” had just the right energy for what we do.

So that’s how the name Growler Services came to be.
